General

Water Recycling

Biological water recycling system

Type : Bionic Combi 25C

Capacity : 25 m3/hour

Filter capacity : 10 micron

Application : waste water recycling in carwash sites

Execution : below ground in existing pits

water recycling

First the pits. You will need:

1.1 Sludge pit with a recommended minimum size of 25 m3;

2.1 Aeration pit. Also this pit should be at least 15 m3 but preferable bigger, since this pit determines the capacity flexibility. The size depends on the under- or overcapacity of the Dynamic in case of peak consumptions in the wash bay;

3.1 Bioreactor pit. We need a bottom surface of about 20 m2 and a minimum depth of 1,8 meter;

4.1 Clean water pit. A pit of 10 m3 is recommended as a minimum.

We have no details of the site lay out. This means that we have to base ourselves on a standard version of this Combi system.

Installation Details

Mainframe executed in stainless steel for all above ground equipment. Approx. sizes: 75 x 200 x 200 cm (depth x length x height)

Central control cabinet with all relays, timers, thermal relays for operating all parts of the system. The central control is a PLC complete with software. All level controls are also connected to this PLC for control and automation. This cabinet is mounted on the mainframe.

Aeration system:

a) 1 Blower SAH 45 with air filter, capacity 52 m3/h, with 1 big floating aerators type JG for the aeration pit and 1 floating aerator type LB for the clean water pit. This blower is installed on the mainframe and blows into a manifold. For each floating aerator there is a flowmeter with a valve placed on the manifold. We deliver 2 x 10 meter of 32 mm hose to connect the floating aerators in the pits to the flowmeters on the mainframe standard.

b) 1 Blower SAH 45 with air filter, capacity 52 m3/h, with 66 aeration tiles. This blower is installed on the mainframe and via a flowmeter with a valve connected to the distribution piping and tiles on the bottom of the bioreactor pit. We deliver 1 x 10 meter of 50 mm hose to connect to manifold of the distribution piping circles in the pits to the flowmeter on the mainframe standard.

Pumping system:

a) 2 Grinderpumps, type Grundfos SEG, capacity each 12-13 m3/h at 2 bar.

b) 6 Hydro cyclones, type 60 with 10 mm spigot, filter capacity 10 micron (0,01 mm)

hydro cyclone

c) 1 Cyclone water return system, the return water of the cyclones is collected in one stainless steel tray, mounted on the mainframe. From this tray the return water can go back to the sludge pit (or gully) by a 50 mm hose. We deliver 1 x 10 meter of 50 mm hose standard.

d) 2 Water pressure control 0-4 bar, stainless steel.

Bioreactor (excluding pit):

a) 18 m3 bio carriers.

b) Water inlet drain. The 10 micron filtered water of the cyclones on the mainframe will go by gravity to the distribution piping on the bottom of the bioreactor pit, so the water will be spread all over the bottom of the bioreactor pit. The filtered water of the cyclones on the mainframe has to go with a minimum 100 mm PVC pipe to the bioreactor pit. This pipe is not included standard.

c) Water outlet drain. Above the biocarriers in the bioreactor pit, there has to be installed a 100 mm perforated pipe across the whole length of the pit. This pipe collects the cleaned water and overflows into the clean water pit.

Nutrient dosing system for Clewer SR20 with dosing pump and tank level control with suction tube, mounted on the mainframe. The nutrient will be pumped into the 100 mm pipe going from the cyclones to the water inlet drain. In this way the nutrient will direct go to the bottom of the bioreactor pit. We deliver 10 litre of nutrient, enough for 2 months, together with the Combi system standard.

2 3-stage level control systems, type NIS3, complete with one electromagnetic water suppletion valve 1½" for aeration pit and clean water pit.
