truck just being washed on the galvanised platform 1) As the vehicle approaches the wheel wash equipment, the sensor mounted on the traffic light column "sees" the vehicle and sends a signal to the pump room to start up the pumps. you will notice the build quality of the platform, which is fully galvanised from top to bottom

A look inside th tank engine room 2) The pump house is situated at the end of the water recycling plant. It is fully frost protected and the electric wheel wash is fully wired to mines and quarry standards. As well as the main pumping gear and control panel it also houses the fresh water jetwash

Looking at the engine in the tank 3) As well as the electric wheel wash, we also offer a self contained diesel driven wheel wash unit, eliminating the need for a power supply or generator. Like the electric version it is fully automatic, starting when the vehicle approaches and shutting down when the vehicle leaves. It has its own engine management system to protect the power pack.

shown here with a vehical inching throught it 4) Here the vehicle is shown slowly inching through the wheel wash equipment with up to 72 high-pressure nozzles spraying the vehicle from the sides, underneath and most importantly, vertically. The wash continues to operate whilst ever a vehicle is "seen" by the sensors, enabling vehicles (to be washed) from the smallest van right through to the longest articulated vehicle, when the rear of the vehicle leaves the wash, the pump shuts down

wheel washer equipment has an platform washdown system 5) A standard feature of both electric and diesel wheel wash is the automatic platform wash down system. This unique system reduces maintenance costs and ensures that the platform is kept clear of debris.

6 inch bauer connectors for easy cleaning 6) The six inch bauer connectors enable the silt to be removed quickly and cleanly via a suction tanker. This eliminates the need to dig out silt from below ground tanks.

water entering the washer equipment recycling plant 7) The dirty water entering the recycling plant at one end weirs through, arriving at the other end having settled all the mud at the bottom of the tank. Certain installations which may suffer from floating debris can be equipped with a special screen filter.

The dirty water and debris collected on the platform 8) The dirty water and debris collected on the platform, runs into a central gully and then into the sump tank. There is a filter basket to remove large debris. In the bottom of the tank is a 'grinder' submersible pump, which transfers the dirty water to the water recycling plant, this metre square tank is the only below ground civils required, all other equipment is surface mounted.

platform grids are designed to massage the tyres 9) The platform grids on the wheel wash are designed to massage the tyres, which of course forces the dirt out as it travels up the entry ramps. Cleaning underneath is important and the hinged ramps makes this job so much easier

As well as the fixed jet unit, we also offer a high spec
rotary jet unit 10) As well as the fixed jet equipment, we also offer a high spec rotary jet wheel wash. This unit incorporates six rotating cleaning heads containing four nozzles each. These deliver high volume, high Arial water jets with adjustable spinning speeds

optional extra high pressure jetting lance 11) The optional extra high pressure jetting lance, which uses clean, fresh water is ideal for not only cleaning the area around the wash, but may well be used for cleaning parts and small vehicles

further storage of water will
improve settling out 12) If space is available, further storage of water will improve settling out
